Programme for ICAT PhD School 2017

The program starts Monday morning September 25 at 09:00 and ends six days later on Saturday afternoon September 30 at approximately 14:00 (2pm). Arrival is recommended for Sunday 24th and departure on Sunday October 1 (or Saturday 30thafter 17:00 if necessary). A more detailed schedule is included below.

Monday and Tuesday will involve lab exercises and introductions. Students will give a 3 minute video presentation of themselves and their research. A half-day excursion will take place Wednesday to Odsherred geopark. Each day will wrap-up with reflections and discussions.

The lecturers will prepare lecture material which will be distributed at the course and made available on the website after the course.

The lecturers in 2017 include N. Abram, M. Potenza, T. Blunier, J. Freitag, C. Hvidberg, A. Grinsted, P. Vallelonga (convener), A. Svensson, S.O. Rasmussen, A.-K. Faber, J. Pedro, H. Kjær (convenor) and S.B. Hansen.

The course will take place at two venues:

1) Monday, Tuesday and Saturday at the Centre for Ice and Climate, Juliane Maries vej 30, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark. Room 235, 2nd floor. Google maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/xjNUJMknrFs
